We had a very exciting and informative time recently at National Portfolio Day in New York City. Each year, between the fall and early winter, National Portfolio Day is offered at different cities around the country. Students can bring their portfolio and get feedback from different participating colleges. This can help you to make improvements to your work and provides information as to how competitive the programs are and how well your work is received. This year 60 specialized art schools and art programs within larger universities participated. It was held at the Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan. We enjoyed speaking with numerous art faculty about their unique and varied programs and hearing their feedback on the students' artwork. |
